Great work metaview.
BTW since the duke3d release after the zodiac france contest (congrats btw) i think it was 1.9a or b i've been having some problems.
the mods work perfectly however every time i try to run the default game i get an error message:
*error (l505 user.con) parameters...
i've had it working before and i've tried everything including a different .grp file but nothing worked. this surprises me cuz all the mods work. anyway, please help me out if u know wat the problem is.

Please write down the whole error string or catch the output using the "DebugLog" check. As an first hint: open the file user.com in your editor and check line 505. Something is wrong there, I guess.

the debug log says:
*error!(L504 user.con)
parameter 'newbeast_roam' is undefined
*error!(L505 user.con)
parameter 'newbeast_recog' is undefined
gameexit: fatal error:
compiled size of con code exceeds maximum size! please notify jonoF so size may be increased in future release.
I don't understand y this happens b/c it worked before and i've tried changing the grp and con files.
edit: nvm thnx. just changed the files for the third time and this time it works for some reason (even though its the exact same files). anyway thanx for ur help and keep up the great work.
