I have released a new version of UDMH, which seems to be much more compatible and stable. It might help you get that SNES module running. It works great on my Zire72. If you would like to try it, download it from my website: dmitrygr.titaniumhosting.com/Before it, SNES would complain about memory, after it, runs great!

I'll try it right away ;D
edit below....
OK, I've installed this and tried running SNES on my T|E, and guess what...
IT WORKED!!! I CAN PLAY SNES ON MY T|E!!!
No, wait, there's more...
I CAN PLAY SNES USING THE ASM CORE!!! WHICH BY THE WAY MEANS RPGS ARE PLAYABLE WITH SOUND!!!
Sorry for the capital letters but I'm just so happy ;D
Now the drawbacks:
- Save state gives me a "NULL string passed" exception; altough I can save and l9oad inside the game, no problems ;D - Some (not all) times this same error occurs when loading the ROM file
However, a crash during the emulation doesn't take my precious memory away... and that's why I just love this new version of UDMH ;D
One last complaint: does it really have to expire in a week? Couldn't you compile a new beta by then? ;D

yoyo, have you tried using the ASM core on yout T|E? I can play Chrono Trigger with sound here (overclocked to 192 MHz) ;D
I'm going to try genesis on GuineaPig now ;D
edit: just to inform you that GuineaPig worked... I managed to play Sonic 3 & Knuckles (4MB ROM) in a Tungsten|E. Now, am I making history or what? ;D

Using this app, I was able to get SNES working on the T5, but only in C. The ASM setting still crashes.

asm is weird. it has nothign to do with UDMH. asm does not work on Zire 72 with or without udmh.

Tried the new UDMH version. 3 Hard resets later, I think it's safe to assume it does not work properly on a Sony TG50. The older hack would at least show I had more dynamic memory.
I guess I don't need to play SNES now that I have plenty of software reinstalling to do. d**n you palm os and your tempermental hotsync... d**n you.

here's a debug version for those for whom this did not work. If you would liek to help me figure it out and get it to work, backup, and install this, then run it and tell me what happens. what numbers you see, etc... dmitrygr.titaniumhosting.com/file/UDMH_D.prc

I would love to help you figure it out. However, I am unable to install this or the non-debug version. I instantly get a memory error just after it hotsyncs, and I am forced to hard reset. I have made sure all old versions are gone, and it does it whether YAHM is present in memory or not.

Using UDMH I was able to get GuineaPig to run on a TT! I can also run GB/GBC and NES emulation just fine using LJP.
However I'm still having trouble getting SNES emulation to work on it. I get an out of memory error. I have 9 Meg free on the RAM. Has anyone gotten SNES to run on a TT yet?

Ok I messed around some more with the latest version of UDMH on my TG50. It gives me the following error still..
MemoryMgr.c, Line:3583, Free handle
Then only a hard reset or a reset with [up] held down will get it back. If I run the app after a reset + [up] key it runs, but then it will crash if I click anything besides info.

just reset while holding the pageup button. Yeah thanks, i already did that, but I thought my palm would do a hard reset then, but I got confused with the power button;) I never used hacks before, cause t|c has a lot op heap mem, so i didnt know that a clean soft reset existed!
