Anyone else see Palm's new announcement? Poor saps. I'm afraid this blunder will spell the end for Palm. I wonder if anyone will make some decent ALP smartphones?

Nevermind, I saw the price. Might as well buy a laptop and get more functionality. The most I'd pay for that is $250 (Canadian) before taxes.

Yep. $600 US before a $100 mail in rebate that you probably won't get (remember palm's history with rebates) for a piece of junk that can only do email and some internet (can't handle youtube) when you can get a $399 laptop at Best Buy that does....everything you want?
What's really sad is they were saying this device was going to be revolutionary. Palm must really have been living in a bubble the last 10 years to think that.

Nah, that's just marketing. 99% of what people (read: companies) call "revolutionary" aren't even near that.
