Anyone know what happened to PalmPowerups or Dmitry in general? His website is now completely blank (the last few months I've noticed a decrease in functionality there, as the forums went down, now the whole site). Has he moved to a new website? Is UDMH dead? Was Dmitry abducted by aliens?

I think it was just down for that weekend (or maybe up to a week). I should've posted here again when I saw it was back up. Sorry.
His forums have been down for quite awhile though. I think he got overwhelmed by spambots.

Haha, where do you think the term "Spam" came from for email, etc? Before Monty Python Spam was just processed meat in a can.

I've noticed there's some variation in the ingredients from time to time. Most of the time if you just get the normal SPAM (not the Turkey Spam or Spam Lite or whatever else) the ingredients are Pork with Ham, Salt, Water, and Sodium Nitrite. So we've got pig and preservatives. Sometimes I've seen Modified Potato Starch and Sugar in the mix too...I'm not sure why the variation.
I've also noticed that only recently have they started putting expiration dates on it. I called their customer service line once to ask when they expire and the girl said "Well we encourage you to use it within 10 years but to tell you the truth as long as you don't open it the stuff never goes bad." So there you go. I have a can of Spam in my room that's been sitting there (unopened) since my 17th birthday. Maybe I'll eat it someday, but for now it makes a nice little shrine.

Guess what though? All this off-topic chat has kept me coming back here and then checking to see if it is still, in fact, down. And guess what? It's back up again! And there was much rejoicing (yea!).
