This is an awesome product! Speed is great! But like some other members, screen taps do not work...not even for menus. Thanks again .

I think screen taps for menus aren't supposed to work anyway. You have to navigate them with up, down, fire (confirm) and menu (go back).
But screen controls don't work. For that matter, I just don't assign the strafe keys (which would be too awkward to do on a device without shoulder buttons). There are just enough hard keys to cover the rest ;D

On my UX40, I just get an "Out of memory" error. .. Then I get a fatal exception. The UX series was advertised to have 16MB of heap memory.. but I'm begining to think that this was a lie, and that there is actually only a little under 8MB. Tap your memory stick icon, and choose "Handheld" from the device list... if the SYstem Memory is the heap memory... then we only have some 7.0 MB... ? I'm using the freedoom iwad files.. and have also tried ZQuake with the demo quake pak file. Both ZDoomZ and ZQuake give me out of memory errors.

Ok, well, I hard reset my UX40 and installed UDMH. ZDoomZ was already installed because it's in the AliasExt.
I set UDMH to allocate 14000K of RAM for ZDoom. I ran ZDoomZ and now get a Fatal Exception.
In addition, ZDoomZ says, "couldn't open -----------" Where the "---------" is usually a bunch of alternating characters. Currently, it's a y followed by a square, but at other times, it has been different.
Not sure what's going on... I downloaded the shareware iwad file from doom1 this time...
