Hello, it would be nice to play with my TC's internal keyboard and or with my PalmPortableKeyboard. Is there any way to realize this? The 5-way-navigator on my tc is not very good for playing. Greetings Fabian

* TC internal Keyboard: as far as I know, there is no way to poll the keystate for TC's internal keyboard. So: no luck. It would work for Treo 600 and 650.
* Same goes for the external keyboard. Additional, the driver will take some part of the processor time.
Regards Henk

I know nothing about palm-programming, but at the game 'Bike or Die' (http://bike.toyspring.com) you can enter cheats with your T|C keyboard (or with other devices you can just write them on the screen). So I hope there is a way to use the keyboard!

There are 2 ways to get input: grafitti and hw-buttons. graffitti needs to be processed by the OS to get a character from your writing. hw-buttons can be polled without the need to let the character to flow through most of the event queue. ZDoomZ etc. just poll the hw-keys (there is a function for it and only the Treo 600 and Treo 650 have a special API to poll every key) and ask for the pen position. But there is no real event queue. Bike-or-Die seems to use a different approach.
