Hi - I've got a Palm T 5 - and I can't get doom working I've installed it all fine, but when I run it, I get an error: cannot sys_alloc 5242880 Bytes and: free ram: 1177/1044 and finally after a load of tapping, 'Warning low mem', then it crashes... Any ideas? I've got 30 meg of free ram, and about 128 meg free on the card. Couldn't get quake to work either I'm using the WAD from the demo (doom), as I can't find my original copy, but the original PAK files for Quake, as I found that CD

T5 havn't enought dynamic ram to makes Zdoomz run without some help. Try with UDMH and it will works fine i run it well on my T5. (at least UDMH have a 7 days trial, so you can test it and if it does not convince you you dont have to buy it )

Wahey - that got me one step further - thanks!!
I now get:
Game 110/Demo 109 Demo is from a different game version.
Any ideas? I'm off in search of a different version of doom to d/l, but I'm guess the shareware one I got was an old copy...

I have the same message, it only makes the demo not working, but if you open the menu and starts a game, it will work
