Now that Version 0.8 came out, what console is everyone playing and what game? Right now im playing Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG (or trying to) for SNES.

well im playing destiny of an emperor, and front mission. Front mission works great actually i thought it would lag like crazy on my TE

well, i've played front mission all the way through, and im searching like crazy for translations of japanese games, mostly turn based strategy, since they run the best in an emulator. ive found some REALLY neat stuff...
ive found that the general oppinion of americans by the japanese must be that were not very smart, we get mario after mario clone and they get these deep involving strategy games. thank (insert diety here...) that people take the time out thier lives to translate this stuff! i bet by the time they get done they never want to think about that game again.

Ball Bullet Gun ( weird name, cool team tactics game. recommended!)
Gemfire (not japanese, but an awesome kingdom conquering game)
Jyutei Senki ( if you like turn based turn based games, this is one of the best ive found)
Treasure hunter G ( strategy RPG, FUN!)
Super robot wars ( those crazy japanese really like thier giant robots!)
Metal marines(eng) ( a cool real time strategy)
digital devil story ( ITS WEIRD...)

and i love rpgs!

star ocean ( lags a bit but , hey, it talks!)
terranigma
ogre battle ( i just wish we had GBA support so we could play tactics!)
final fantasy 6 (again, ff tactics would be awesome to play on my T3, just add GBA support and dont announce it, it'll be our little secret....shh!)(
ive only gotten through ff7 on psx, but these games are sooo long...)

ive installed ALOT of different games on here so far and these are the ones that ive hesitated to remove.
looking forward to the tg 16 module, theres a lot of great strategy games for that system

all i have been doing is searching for snes / gen translations in a search engine and they usually have patches on the sites, you can use an ips patcher to apply the patch. really easy. there are many that wont work, however, like bahmut lagoon (grrr...) but im hoping that as the emulator improves, they might start to work.

lucky to find someone like strategy game.

i think that there are so many pc-style strategy games developped by american just like Panzer General, Battle Island and the War In Russia(my favourite strategy game), but prefered mostly by the adults. so nintendo would not translate the strategy games on snes which purchased mostly by the kids.

anyone emulates the TacticsOgre on Clie? my device is TH55, that cant be run.......

Your probably right, when i was little and had my snes i probably wouldnt have enjoyed alot of the strategy games i do now, heck i only really started playing when i was like seven and realized that there was more to zelda then running around and killing people.

Just beat Chrono Trigger for SNES...took awhile...also beat Super Mario RPG (didnt work on LJP so had to use ZSNES on my computer)
Now im thinkin about Secret of Mana I or Secret of Mana II
Or Earthworm Jim for Sega Genesis...

I haven't still been victim of a reset (sound crash problem on 0.8 in snes module).
