Installing ZDoomZ for dummies A Step By Step guide

IF YOU GET THE MESSAGE DATA TRANSFER ALLOCATMENT EXCEEDED< TRY AGAIN IN ONE HOUR
In there, you will find the shareware doom wad, all the timidity stuff, McFile Demo version, NoMoreMP3Trick, All the ZDoomZ files, and UDMH demo version,These are all the files needed for this. There may be other ways to do this, but this is my way, and I think it's pretty easy!

1. Hotsync ZdoomZ.prc to your palm
2. Hotsync TimInstall.prc to your palm
3. Hotsync NoMoreMP3Trick.prc to your palm
4. Hotsync everything in the McFile folder to your palm
5. Hotsync UDMH_palm.prc to your palm
6. Run ZdoomZ.prc on your palm
7. Hotsync zdoomz.zdk to your SD Memory Card
8. Run McFile on your palm
9. Use McFile to create /palm/programs/timidity if it does not already exist
10. Use McFile to create /palm/programs/timidity/patches if it does not not
already exist
11. Run NoMoreMP3Trick on your palm, and type in the extension .zip
12. Give the location you just made, /palm/programs/timidity/patches
13. Hotsync the file timidity.zip to your palm
14. Run NoMoreMP3Trick on your palm, and type in the extension .wad
15. Give the location /palm/programs/ZDoomZ
16. Hotsync the file DOOM1.WAD to your palm
17. Run and enable UDMH on your palm
18. Run ZDoomZ on your palm
19. If all goes well, you should see DOOM1.wad in the IWAD List, select it.
20. At the bottom, click controls, and configure your controls.
21. When done, tap launcher, at the bottom
22. make sure DOOM1.wad is selected, and tap launch at the bottom of the
screen
23. At the top, the screen may say "cannot sys_alloc 9437184 bytes."
Ignore it, and tap the text a few times
24. A box should appear over the text saying "Init Textures" followed
shortly by " Init sprites" , then a couple more boxes really quickly.
25. The game will begin. Enjoy!
26. If the game does not begin, and gets stuck at "InitTextures" Then a
box appears in the middle saying "Z_Malloc: Failed on allocation of
2828 bytes" restart your palm, turn on UDMH again, it will have turned
itself off unless you have paid for it.#nosmileys

the last file's link doesn't work. I didn't try it without being able to download that. I'm a dummy and when you fix that, I'll let you know if your instructions were good.

Ya, good thinking, the majority of the things needed are in that file! lol!

It works just fine if you right click and download file to desktop, or the windows equiv.

Ok, since this is for dummies, point out that the timidity.zip file is on this site, since it wasn't included in the files you sent me. Took me a while to figure that one out.

Also, instead of saying enable udmh, we have to do more than that. click enable and then go in and configure it to work on zdoomz. That was another thing I missed.

And some palms (like mine) don't allow you just hotsync certain file types, like .wad, so getting a program like cardexport will help some people out who had trouble.
