I have a Tungsten C, with 18.7MB free, and I am running ZDoomz after a reboot so the heap is empty.
When I try and run the Game, I get the error 'W_GetNumForName:STBAR not found!' after clicking launch. (The wad is the doom.wad from doom1)
Once the game has loaded, and it goes through the opening screens I get the messages: 'Demo is from different game version' and 'Game 110/Demo 3'.
Then once bring up the ingame menu to start a game and reach the 'Which episode' and 'Choose Skill Level' prompt, I get the following messages repeated continously: 'W_GetNumForName:M_NMARE not found!' and 'W_CacheLumpNum:-1>=numlumps', and I have to very quickly press the fire key before the error appears again to start the game.
Also - after I go to the 'Enter a command' and enter something, then the screen goes white.
Lastly, do I really need all of the files from the 'eawpats12_full_palm.zip' or 'timidity-std.zip' files. (I have all of the eaw installed, but was just wondering if it really uses all 30MB of it.)

Have you actually gotten this to work before. It is possible that you do not have the correct type of WAD file. Not all of them work. Try re-installing it, and trying it without the sound files.

Yes, it did work before, once I'd managed to wade through the error message.
I've now swapped to the Ultimate Doom and Doom2 Wads which both work, apart from the 'Demo is different from game version', and the white screen when I enter a command.
New problems I have found are that after viewing the map, and trying to return to the game zdoomz either freezes or crashes my Palm.
Lasty: If I save a game (blank name cause I can't find a way to enter one) I am unable to find it after restarting the game, zdoomz appears to 'lose' them.
