While playing doom 1 i used idkfa to get all weapons but when i cycled past the chainsaw i got the following error R_ProjectSprite:invalid sprite frame 6 : 0 this error happens every time i do this so its not a once off. It does not happen with doom 2 so i am thinking it is my .wad file, what size should a doom 1 wad be? mine is 12,408,292 bytes (11.8 MB) Its from the ultimate doom install.
This error does not cause a crash but the error message wont go away so the game is all but frozen.

perhaps it's the wad or perhaps it's the code.... I remember the weapon being sort of 'hardcoded' in the sources....

i think i know why: in doom 2 it does not do this because it switches to the super shotgun i think when you cheat in doom 1 it looks for the super shotgun and cant find it then crashes.
