For some odd reason, I don't need UDMH anymore! I have a Sony Clie TJ37, and when I first tried zDoomZ I got fatal exceptions, which UDMH solved. Thinking this was somewhat strange since I was lead to believe I had 9 mb of dynamic heap (Read any review they all say the same thing), I turned off the Clie Launcher and used the standard launcher, and it still would not run without UDMH. Then UDMH crashed and game me a message I had used it for 9834866 days or something. So I started trying Metaviews enhanced, with no luck (Some post said it didn't need UDMH on some certain model of Tungsten because of Metaviews enhancement) Then something wierd happened. I was playing bejeweled, and playing until my clie turned off, and turned it on again until it wouldn't turn on anymore, and then when I plugged in the adapter it gave several beeps of varying tones. I was SCARED, thought I fried my Clie somehow. Then it got back to launcher, everything is still there, and I deleted Warfare Inc cause I played through the trial and I thought it sucked, then just for jollies tried to start zDoomZ with UDMH uninstalled, and IT WORKED!!!!!!! BTW, it was Metaview's enhanced version. But still no joy on Timidity music, Couldn't load instrument etc.

Hmmm.. my GC10 came in the mail today, and installing the driver for it made me reset my Clie... now.... zDoomZ crashes on launch again...guess I'll have to buy UDMH after all.... Wonder what made it so it could run? Was it from running the batteries down, or for repeatedly tapping back and forth and back and forth on Enable and Info in UDMH on the trial expiry screen before I deleted UDMH? Did I cause some kind of buffer overflow that caused the UDMH to run without registration, even after deleting it?

W00t again!!! I installed UDMH again, and I repeatedly tapped the checkmark and the info button (If you have seen the "Activation" nag screen, you know what I mean. Then I played zDoomZ, it worked, I deleted UDMH, zDoomZ still works!!!!! Evidently it's just some strange thing in my clie that gets triggered by UDMH... I wonder if I backup now, then hard-reset and restore my backup if zDoomZ will work... I doubt it... sorry Dmitry for finding your overflow.. :/ Anyway, if it bothers you, I will buy UDMH after all with my next paycheck. I can't condone piracy, but if it's just a feature that Sony disables (re: my HP cd burner that was supposedly 2x, but a firmware upgrade activated 4x) I have no qualms about re-enabling a feature that hardware-wise is actually there.... Now for loading instruments via Timidity.... Music would be sweet if it worked!

Hmm, when I shot the next gun after the shotgun... machinegun? Chaingun? I never can remember the names.. an error about a lump, then the battery warning, then fatal exception tap here to reset... is this what people had with the chainsaw?

I think it was a "sprite not found" error or something.
BTW, quite a great monologue you had there. ;D

Oh yeah, sorry... I was just too happy when ZDoomZ worked after I deleted UDMH. And I figured any of the things I mentioned maybe was the cause of zDoomZ being able to work. BTW, when trial is expired, just click the checkmark, then press home.. the fact that I clicked back and forth was a red herring.
