Yeah and I ran it and added ZDoomZ and gave it 8000KB of dynamic ram and it still just reset the device.

have you "a lot" (20mb+) of free storage memory on the handled ? did you well placed the .wad files in /palm/programs/zdoomz/ ? did you use a launcher ? did you use dbcache tool ? did you used memory unfragment ?...... give us more informations if you want a decent answer...
did you tried to soft reset in "safe" mode with nothing in memory (soft reset with the "key up" pressed) to see if it work ?

i have it on 1GB SD card and its has much more then 20+mb left the ram itself still has 25+mb free .wad is in palm/progrmas/zdooms the launcher being the one that shows the wad files and you choose you and launch then yes Idk what dbcache tool is never used memory unfragment never did a soft reset in Safe mode.
I just got this from a friend and he got it from a family member so im not sure how to defragment the memory is it a feature with dbcache tool?

memunfragment is a first step to make more contiguous free memory on your palm. Dbcache tool is a tool which free the... dbcache take a look at the ljp page " how to optimize your lifedrive", many of the tools are good for most of the palms (but the lifedrive upgrade and dual key pressed thingy).

Also I dont even know how to completely turn this off or do a soft reset i tried holding the power button and that just asked me how bright i wanted it. I guess I could start Doom that would reset it hehe and then hold UP

The is a tiny hole behind the handled. Inside this hole is the "reset" button. To do a reset, press with the stylus (if it permite) or a thin object.
To do a safe mode soft reset, do this while you press the "key up" button of the palm.
To do a hard reset (completely reinstall the palm like it was when bought and removing ALL other data inside) do a reset while pressing the "power" button of the palm.
Doing regular soft reset will help you a lot to play games which need a lots of free memory (pocket pc and palm user are soft reset maniacs...)

T2? Should work with UDMH. Add ZDoomZ to UDMH and assign 8 MB memory (more than enough for the latest version). Ensure you use the latest versions, this is 1.8 for ZDoomZ and 5.3 for UDMH. And, disable music!!!

ok i got it to work i guess before it wasnt allocating the memory or something also if i give it more memory IE 20 over 8 that will increase speed right?

As we're talking about music, when did you expect timidity running on tx ? ;D ;D ;D
lupin : no, memory doesn't improve speed, to improve speed you'll need to overclock your processor (with warpspeed for example).

first try to make it "work", you'll see later to "improve speed" Take a look at the links about optimizing lifedrive, it'll give you hints to optimize your T2...

The best thing about warpspeed should be to ask on the programmer board, as he ask for paiement, its more "his job" to help you with this.
Here its to help for the free ports yoyo, tinnus and metaview maintain and work on ;D

Another possibility for overclocking is Lightspeed; the controls are simple and it works good.

Yeah, the faster a palm's speed, the faster the battery drains. Overclocking apps can also be used to underclock apps that don't need the speed.
btw the "modify" button can be used to alter your post, rather than typing 2 replies.

Just a hint, lupin, try to improve your writing, this is not a chatroom. Some of your messages are actually hard to understand.

Yeah I kind of know the difference between a chat room and a message board I actually started on message boards then relucalently moved to chat due to instant help that was harder subjects like this was hard to get. And I would like an example of something that I said that you had problems understanding this was I can be aware of it. I read back over what I had written in this topic and missed it myself.

Thanks beavis ;D lupin, just to clarify, I was not complaining, just trying to help you improve your communication skills. It's harder to get answers when people can't understand what you're saying
