Well, I'm surprised with this software, I played Hexen, Doom and Quake a lot in the PC, and now I have the possibility of play them in my Zire. Congratulations Yoyo!
But, I installed the Zhexen, with 10.5Mb free memory on my Palm and it don't run. The following error appear: Out of memory, error loading PNO. (I'm not with my Palm here to see if this is the exact description of the error).
So, can someone give me a help to I use this incredible software?

Sou brasileiro com muito orgulho hehehe.
If you're impressed with Hexen... have you tried Quake? Simply amazing.

I dunno why, but can't get it to work on my T3. I grab the registered Wad file and still get errors, even though the emulator doesn't tell me that the file isn't a Iwad, so I'm assuming that it must be the right one. What to do now? Thanks!

Try to tweack with the Portrait/Landscape setting. Also, ZQuake, ZHexen and ZDoomZ are not emulators, they are the real games ported to PalmOS.

[edit] I got it working! I to sum it up, I had a memory problem that would cause the game to crash. I have a Treo 650 and I thought it was having problems with me running the game off my Memory card. Turns out, the very first time I try to run Hexen with UDMH, it did not work. But hacking away at it again, I tried a second time, just for grins, and it works! Now I'm off to buy the full version of UDMH! Thanks for all the Hard work! The game runs and looks great on my Phone!!!! P.S. Take that you picture phone fanatics! [edit #2] I just got the PNO error! It pulls it up in a palm pop up window, like when I am on a call, but looking at my adress book, if I hang up on the call, a box at the bottom of my screen says "you just hung up" or something similar! I get 4 pop up errors, all titled "Infos", and have an Ok button. #1 "Error while unzipping" #2 "3" #3 "Error while loading PNO" #4 "259" Is this your error? After a soft reset of my Phone, I had to re-enable UDMH, but then it worked fine. So my question for the programmers is: How do I get around having to reset so often?

In the original game. And please do not ask for sites which contain commercial WADs, it's against the rules.

It's the old PC version that contains the WADs. You can buy it at some websites I believe but maybe you'll find a ~$5 copy in a bargain bin somewhere.

Just a warning for T|E2 users:
I installed zDoomz, zHexen, and zQuake and UDMH. After repeated attempts to launch and soft resets (and checking with these forums to make sure everything was in the right place, file-wise), I was able to get zHexen to run from my SD card (with UDMH on the internal memory). I got as far as the auto-playing level demo and menu screen. I watched it play for about a minute before fatal exception. This happend twice.
After the 2nd crash and soft reset my Tungsten E2 couldn't finish booting. I performed a warm reset with no change so I hard reset and hotsynced. I got everything running again only this time after the next crash (shortly thereafter) the E2 hung at the "Palm Powered" screen. I tried all three varieties of resets with no change. I emailed Palm. They recommended letting the battery drain and hard resetting. No change. I called Palm (nice Philipino operators). They suggested another hard reset. No change. They said my palm was "defective" and I exchanged it for a new one at Best Buy.
I'm really torn now. I know that these apps can run safely on the palm (for many of you) but I seem to have corrupted critical OS files with these apps, irreparably damaging the last palm. Has anyone else had these issues with an E2? Do we have many successful E2 users running these ID ports?
Thanks.

Which version of UDMH and ZHexen did you try? I hope you tried UDMH 5.3 as any older version of it is not compatible with the E2. Also if you tried the last ZHexen (1.5) I hope you've read the warning about the broken music?

It appears I ran zHexen 1.1 (which I d/led from here prior to knowing about the Metaview updates. I did d/l Metaview's zDoomz 1.6). As for UDMH I don't know what ver. as I am reluctant to reinstall the ver. I have and it didn't come with any docs. I did d/l it from here:
<http://palmpowerups.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&lid=6&ttitle=udmh_-_unlimited_dynamic_memory_hack>
I do notice (now) that the E2 is not listed among the devices that UDMH runs well with. Music was not an option for zHexen 1.1, however when I attempted zDoom 1.6 numerous times, I was diligent about making sure the music box was not checked.
