Will future versions of ZQuake be able to run smoother? Or is my PDA's hardware maxed out? I'm using a T3 and full screen runs somewhat choppy. I ask beause I was also wondering if overclocking would speed things up.

I'm sure overclocking would speed it up a lot.
And I think it can't run smoother, because the engine's already very optimized. The exception would be if parts of it were ported to ARM assembly.

If you run it in protrait, it's fast. Sure it isn't 480x320 anymore but 320x240 :-)

Oooo, that's interesting. So when you say "ported to ARM assembly", do you mean optimized for an ARM processor? I'm not a programmer, so I don't know... Henk, I'll try running it at the lower resolution and see it looks.

I mean parts of the code would be ported to ASM, like the Genesis and SNES ASM CPU cores in LJP.

Just wanna be helpful, so heres an overclocker: www.clievideo.com/beta/lightspeed/download.htmlMy device is a TJ-27 at 192MHz, this program apparently can ramp it up to 230... seems like there might be a difference I'm noticing, but not entirely positive. If anyone knows of a program that does better let me know...
