There's a problem with the hardware keys on the T|C in ZQuake, but not in ZDoom. When you press a key (eg. to move forward, backward etc.) the game slows down dramatically. But when no keys are pressed, the game flies. All of Skeezix's other apps have the same problem, so it must be something he's doing in the check for key presses that's causing the problem (and I guess, ended up in your port). ZDoom runs just fine, so whatever you did there is right, and whatever's happening in Skeezix's code isn't...

No, it's because ZDoomZ runs so fast you can't notice it. It happens for almost all apps actually.

Hmm - so it's intrinsic to the Palm design? I've had other fairly high-powered modern 3D game apps run fine on it...

It's intrinsic to most Palm PDAs but a lot more expressive in the Tungsten|C (probably because of the keyboard).
