In the full game CD you must own. Asking how to get illegally (download somewhere) is against the rules but it doesn't take too much genius to use google  Also, search first, this it not the 1st or 2nd time this question is asked. |

Please don't talk with him that way, it's very preconceptuous (does that workd exist?)
Anyway you can't judge him by his language, he seems just to not speak english as his native language. He can stabilish decent communication and that's what matters.
Anyways, to get the PAK simply install the game and you'll se the PAK in the folder you installed it to.

1) Stop being arrogant about english being "dominant". It's just the most spoken language and that's all. Next you'll say that white people are "dominant" because they outnumber? Your avatar fits well. Not trying to offend you, but you need to control that attittude a little.
2) Go learn english or at least show us you already know enough, before asking someone to do so. "libertr of speach" is not english to me.

Agreed with Tinnus. Everyone needs to calm down and quit the personal attacks. This forum exists for us to help each other.

BTW how did this thread get so far off the topic of Quake? mr.chockuls already said he had purchased the full version of Quake on Ebay. He deserves the benefit of the doubt, and any help we can offer getting it to run on his palm.
mr.chockuls, post again if you are having any problems getting ZQuake to run.

Hmmm, nice to see the ol' Folder on fire icon. Too bad its because of something as silly as this. It started out as an innocent request of how to get the Quake 1 PAK file on your handheld. So, Chokuls? Did you find it? By default, these files should be in the following directory on your PC: C:\Quake\ID1\ Copy those PAK files into the same named folder on your mem stick. On PalmOS devices, this should be /PALM/Programs/ZQuake/ID1/
This reminds me, I can't even get this program, which I recently bought the full version as well, to run on my computer. I'm at a loss here. I am running on XP Pro, but used to be able to get this to run fine on 98. Does anyone have any suggestions here? I have like three icons on my desktop to three files: Quake.exe, QLaunch.exe, and Q95.bat, none of which the shortcuts these point to can get the program to run. I'd really like to get this program going on my PC. But its a good thing I saw this thread anyways, cuz it'll remind me to copy over my PAK files to my SD card, so I can play it there too! I really love this 1Gb card I got... ;D

Look for a XP port of QUake or something... Isn't there openquake or something like it that run on D3D/OGL?

I have no idea, but I guess I can look around for something like that. I know of GLQuake, but my current card does not suport OpenGL too well. A Direct3D version would be nice, as well as a D3D version of Quake 2...

Wow! That's great you guys speak portuguese!!!! I need some help to make the ZQuake work on my LifeDrive.
Instalei o Quake e agora vejo que falta o Pak para que eu selecione algo para carregar o jogo. Também não faço ideia onde está o tal folder PALM/Programs?ZQuake. Podem me ajudar???

O PAK vc pega com o jogo original, se não tiver, bem, há meios fáceis de se procurar A Pasta PALM/Programs/ZQuake fica no cartão ou no HD, você cria onde preferir (eu acredito que suporte tanto cartão quanto HD). |

Obrigada! Encontrei a pasta, mas lá não tem o sub folder ID1. Por que?
Ainda estou procurando o Pak para poder jogar. O Timidity é para poder jogar com som? Eu baixei, mas agora não sei o que fazer com ele e nem se é necessário. Pode me ajudar mais uma vez? Obrigada!

Você tem que criar a pasta ID1 dentro da outra e colocar os PAKs do original dentro... Mods vão direto na pasta ZQuake.
O Timidity é pra ouvir música. O chato é ter que instalar dezenas de MB pra isso, por isso eu jogo sem música mesmo.

Hey Tinnus, I think you don't need Timidity to run ZQuake, since ZQuake have cd-audio tracks... no midi. BTW... as I said early in this post... I can understand portuguese but I don't know how to write or speak it... hehehe... I just know to speak in spanish(my default language) and english... right now I'm learning japanese(nihongo).

Tinnus, eu criei a pasta ID1. Ok. Agora entendo que preciso encontrar encontrar o tal PAK para instalar dentro dessa pasta. Pensei que ao instalar o jogo, viesse algum PAK básico... então só poderei experimentar quando encontrar não é? É só isso que falta agora?
Dei um Launch no jogo sem querer que reinicializou meu sistema... dizendo que não havia memória suficiente. Estranho.
Meu Palm é umLife Drive. Acho que to quase lá!!!!! Espero que seja pra hoje!!! hahahahaha! Obrigada pela ajuda!
