Any chance the later versions might support the built in keyboards some of the models of PDAs support (such as the Treos)?
It's difficult using the function buttons, and impossible to map all the functions to keys when you only have 5 available (not including the directional pad).

Doesn't get it to work, still. I get the numbers of keys pressed, but not which one was pressed.

No, probably never. OS limitations that would make it too slow/choppy/etc.
