Sometimes, when I change the level with the 'map' command, I am bombarded with the errors CL_SENDMOVE: LOST SERVER CONNECTION and NET_SENDMESSAGE: DISCONNECTED SOCKET.
EDIT: It seems to always work fine when I use the popup command window (except when the map does not exist, of course), but when typing the map command into the onscreen keyboard, I often get this error. So, ultimately it doesn't really matter, but you might as well know about this 'bug'.

Feldhedge, are you using UDMH? Have you soft reset recently?

No I am not. Didn't know if I needed it as I had plenty of free memory. Should I? I did soft reset and then tried again. Got the menu to start but then everything went black and nothing.
Took a couple of minutes and tried it again. Now I can get through the menus but I get an error just before the game starts that says "Hunk_Alloc: Failed on 5520 bytes" nothing to do but press OK. Then it soft resets.
At least ZDoom runs awesome on it.

You need a certain amount (8 mbs?) of dynamic memory to play quake. In most Palms (exceptions include Zodiac, T3) there is not enough. Dynamic memory can be increased with UDMH (Unlimited Dynamic Memory Hack), found at palmpowerups.com.

I get that message also. But its not a problem. While your getting the error simply hit the button to bring up the menu, select multiplayer and load it up as normal. It stops once you enter the game.

to lordshadow: when you say it stops you mean you can play game normally, but not to play custom levels...right?I still cant play mod levels...cause I cant type letter on the popup command window! I have a UX50. So...anybody knows? How to solve this bug, metaview? Thanks a lot!

Another issue with this is the ZQuake onscreen keyboard doesn't show up in landscape mode on some Palms (doesn't on my TX, does on my brother's Zodiac). I look forward to being able to keybinds while playing in landscape.
