Edit by yoyofr use this thread to post your own custom backgrounds
Hello. I thought I should share this here. It's alternate PNGs that I created. The ones included with snes9x-TYL are very nice, though, I just like to personalize the ones on my PSP and this is what I came up. The font is from zone38.net. Thank you to yoyo, laxer3a and thunderz for the great emu! www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=9204Also, kaltar has posted his own full theme on dcemu. You should check it out too: www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=9172

Could you perhaps remove the black overlay and allow 16/24 bit images in the next version? That would make it easier to make background images that don't appear washed out or dark.

Hi all, I like all your backgounds but i was wondering how would i go about putting one on my emulator. I tried deleting the logo that it came with and just dragging yours in the emu folder but the screen just goes black. When i put the logo back in there it shows up on the background. Can someone help.

Oh ok, I see what's going on. Most of the icons/backgrounds are PNGs designed to be included in the eboots with a program like PSP Brew (or PBP Unpacker if you prefer that), although some include a BMP file called "logo.bmp" that can be thrown into the directory like you've done... Um... I think in the last one I made I accidently included a logo.bmp that really kind of sucks. I would recommend not using that one... If that doesn't help, I'd recommend searching for a tutorial on editing eboot files.

Try adapting your own Background and Icons. It isnt difficult. Just convert some pictures, rescale and give it the appropriate title. Ive been making my own Icon and Backgrounds since the very beginning.

how do i make my own backgrounds? I don't know. I've heard you use a computer program called PSPBrew or something to make your own eboot with whatever graphics you put into it. Never could get it to open any eboot though.

If someone could tell me how to host files, I did one a while ago that I could show you. I can't use Rapidshare, it hates me.
