I use the following: Sound: on Frequency: 44Khz
GFX engine: Accurate Software (avoid crashes) Frameskip: Auto Rendering: Zoom1 Smoothing: On Speed limit: On Video Sync: Off Gamma correction: 0
CPU clock: 333Mhz ... No Transparency: Off Fast Sprites: Off
--------------------------------- I'm playing CT right now, and I consistently get full speed on world maps/levels, but battles slow down to about half the framerate (frameskip kicks in). No complaints. When I disable sound, the battles are full speed, too, but then turning it back on crashes the emulator.

I use PSP accelerated on all games that allow me to, seems to be fastest but some games don't like it. Also I prefer to use Frameskip 1 or 2 rather than Auto, seems to maintain smoothness but I'll play around more with this. This EMU RULES!!! I respectfully ask you all to donate. I say don't be hatin', be donatin' sorry

Set "Ignore fixed color" to on and pretty much every Square RPG gets speed up alot when any menus are open (This includes battle menus and text boxes) because of the shading applied to them they make the scene take about ten times as long to render. By ignoring it the windows sometimes aquire a ugly 2 color look, but the performance skyrockets.
Enable "Ignore Palette writes" to greatly speed up Terranigma when any menus are open. (Text and status boxes too)
Enable "Ignore Windows Clipping" to speed up Secret of mana, unfortunatly sometimes scene elements are missing.
In Final Fantasy 3 enable "Ignore Add/Sub modes" to make the text boxes look nicer after you have enabled fixed color ignores. This might help in other games with 2 tone text boxes, but I havn't had a chance to check.
