strange memory stick trouble with STAR OCEAN only

i have a strange memory stick trouble with STAR OCEAN ONLY

Try the game STAR OCEAN and the memory card will be reading or writing every 5 seconds that give a big slow down to the game each 5 seconds. autosave timer off
sound:on
frequency 11khz
gfx engine: default
frameskip: 1
rendering : full
render pa as ntsc: off
smotthing: on
speed limit: on
video sync: off
cpu clock: 333
Hack/debug:
on one setting was changed: no transparency : on
others setting are default

battle are really slow with this bug.
i dont know what the memory stick is doing but always flashed orange during battle

that means that sram was just modified and is automatically saved.
I'll do a quick update (v0.2c) to have this as an disactivable option since it can be very annoying.
