Speedhacks Database Q

I love your snes emu, very tight. My question is in the info file for snes9xTYL 0.2c
you mention

speedhacks database from SnesAdvance
--> www.snesadvance.org
you rock!

are these speedhacks incorporated into 2c ? If not is there a way of using the database with your program ?

yeap, these speedhacks are in snes9xTYL.
if some are detected for the game you launch, you should a quick message telling speedhacks
were found.

Is there a way to turn off speedhacks permanently? Speedhacks for Final Fantasy 2 seems to cause some graphical artifacts, and so I need to reload the game after turning off hacks to make it playable.

As I mentioned in the other thread, save your settings as the default. Then it will load those settings on startup and for each ROM.

I had already tried that, but the speedhack config doesn't get saved. If I set speedhacks off, exit the emu, then try to load the game with default settings, speedhacks are still enabled. Perhaps it's a bug that the speedhacks setting is not saved?

What i actually did was copy the .dat file from speedhacks to psp snes9X folder where the message "Speedhacks loaded " appears upon loading rom.

I am wondering what speedhacks actually do in this emulator..?

I am working on optimizing tetris attacks on snes9X.
any settings recommendations ?

I have no clue what they do. Chrono trigger seems the same to me with em on or off. So I am lost.
