Since version 0.3, s9xTYL comes in 2 version :
- me (stands for Media Engine) : compatible with firmware 1.00, 1.50 , 2.71 SE, 3.02 OE, 3.03 OE, 3.40 OE and all other custom firmwares only. This version provides more speed by using the media engine, but requires full kernel mode access. Run it using the 1.50 kernel on any of the SE/OE custom firmwares.
- standard : check fanjita website, www.fanjita.org, for compatibility. This version does not use media engine and requires little kernel mode access, allowing it to run on more recent firmware.
To avoid multiple useless post,
let's put the things clear :
This emu works because someone at Sony forgot to "remove" ability to launch unsigned executable program.
This feature for the moment is ONLY WORKING with
V1.0 and 1.5 Bios because Sony closed these holes in upper versions. Or using any of the custom firmwares by Dark_AleX where he combined new firmware features with the 1.5 ability to run unsigned code. And until a new hole is found by somebody else... You are stuck !
SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK\BEG\PRAY FOR HELP.
1/ WE ARE NOT SONY.
You updated your bios, you are stuck. That's your miss.
2/ PLEASE READ THE BOARDS LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE !!
I am sorry but I dont want to see message like the one there is on EVERY BOARDS SINCE MONTHS.
In this digital world, information is power...
If you dont learn how to find it and rely on others to do your job, that's your problem. Not ours...
If you can't read, that's not our problem either.

Yoyo, agree with that ?(I am getting "ps2dev" like but there is really no other choices, else we will have to spend our time administrate this board.)
