Well just have a question, recently Reesy from gp32 scene has been updating opensnes, specifically the sound core.
Apparently he is going to try and adding sound core from PocketSPC. He already improved the sound core, here is what he said, "I have succeeded in improving the current sound core, I moved the sound rendering to a DMA interrupt driven system. A section of sound is now rendered and played using a DMA, when the DMA completes it uses a interrupt to render some more code to play. Its a very clean setup and saves having to do all the messing around that Yoyofr had to do before in order to get clean sound."
My question is will this help any for the psp version once its finished and added into it? I say this because, after trying Reesy's update on opensnes, even without the PocketSPC in yet Reesy has already improved the speed and sound. I'm not a programmer so don't know if this can help make TLY even closer to perfection.

Hi,
No it is useless in our case, as the OS does not allow access to direct interrupt and timer.
We are using thread and may be the multicpu in future version.
