whenever i try to load a rom my psp goes to a blue screen saying nuts happens :-( with a bunch of numbers, is this common or is this not supposed to happen? i have v 1.5 and everything is installed correctly

Your images must have an SMC extension.

Are they your own dumps or downloaded from somewhere? (Even those GoodXXXX sets arn't really that high quality, don't trust a fancy name)

yes i downloaded a few games that i own. they HAVE to be high quality or what? i don't understand why i'm the only one to get a blue screen

Try dumping your own carts, Use a Game Doctor SF7 or a Super Wild Card DX2, I like the DX2 more, but the SF7 is alot more common.
I'm pretty sure you're getting a crash because of corrupt ROM images.

sometimes they work though, thats whats mind boggling ... like i'll try a rom it will crash, ill try it again and it works :S

sometimes they work though, thats whats mind boggling ... like i'll try a rom it will crash, ill try it again and it works :S weird... run them on the win vr of snes9x, and see if it says the chksum is OK or BAD. Id just ditch the rom, find one that works.

I am having this problem too. Even when I try to run the emulator with no roms on the memory stick. The actual message reads:
The game could not be started. (80020130)
Also, what extention should my roms have? Is .smc is correct? How do zipped roms work?
Sorry for all the questions.

Fixed it now, the download contained 2 folders and I was only using one of them at a time.

it says "checksum:ok" on znes for the computer so i dunno :/
