how do u find roms to use for the emu?

You have to get the rom from an owned cart. (PS is is illegal to post sites that are related to downloading roms. Please do not ask for them on this board.)

Use a Game Doctor SF7 or a Super Wild Card DX2. I like the DX2 better, but it's alot rarer. Most roms that you download are corrupted in some way becuase most of the web sites just download their games from another site and those got it from another site and it keeps happening and they very slowly get little portions corrupted.
I dump everything I use myself except for japanese stuff that I can't find anywhere in the USA, you wouldn't belive how bad most rom sites with "verified" dumps are.
Just for your information ROM stands for Read Only Memory. The files I assume you are looking for are the games that you use with the emulator, those are called rom images.
