Hello,
I have been playing FF3 on this emulator for a while now, and i am currently half way through the game. I am stuck on the magi master though. i saved stated it on accident during the beginning of the battle, and after i kill him, he casts ultima which kills my whole party. I have no way to get around this, i dont have Life 3, and i cant change my relics during battle. The only thing i can think of is game genie, turn on invincibility code for this battle. I really hope the next ver. has game genie in it. If you can think of anything else to help me i would appreciate it.

get a walkthrough and do it properly, if u use cheats i guarantee u wont bother finishing the game.

That was the best game to beat. Not too hard, just right. Persaverence is the key imo. Just keep at it til you PWN it.

what you could also do is use uo_snes9x (which support cheats), level up your char's then import a "state save" into snes_tyl. that should help you if you're pretty weak.

Not sure if this works but, have you tried casting reflect? It's been soooo long since I last played that game. I agree, don't use cheats it just takes the enjoyment out of this kick ass game.

hmmmm...i'm currently playing ff3 on uo_snes9x (still my fav emu) using cheats and it's really really really really fun.

You save stated in a bad battle? Why not just go back to your last proper save (the one that would've been stored by the original cart)? Even if you lose an hour or two of work, it would be worth it not to cheat at such a well-designed game.

ha!! cheater always win. in my case i'm winning big and kicking a**. well, that's about it for me on FF3, time to play some Chorno Trigger ( and with cheats)!

Anywho, it would be better to simply play from your last in-game save (no matter how long ago it was), or if there is none, well then you're in trouble, simply swallow you're pride and restart (I know it sucks, I constantly edit my ROMs, so I've memorized the opening,lol).
