i only try it to play nes,gb,snes game on my t5.
i.nes and gb games runs pretty good!!
ii.whatever which snes games will lead my t5 crash.
the detail is: I select the game and then tap on "launch", the screen show"out of memory", when i tap on the "out of memory button, it show "DataMgr.c,Line:8694,DmWrite: DmWriteCheck failed", then the machine is freeze. I must reset it.
attach runing program for your information: UDMH show info is: total size: 14,679,792 bytes free space:46,125,872 bytes max chunk size:16,777,200 bytes
Machine is clean, I try that after a hard reset. It has only the original softwares on T5, include LJP and UDMH. Nothing eles. Also I haven't leave the old version of LJP. Do you have any idea of this, Yoyofr? I m looking forward to you finding, thx!!
Also the LJP is a awesome work of you, and I love it very much!!

Firstly, I m sorry if my express word is unsuitable, because I m not good at english.
I want to say that whatever I use "asm" or "c" core, use "enable sound" or "disable sound",use "22hkz" or "44hkz". But it will crash my T5 all the way. And the screen mode is default
Pls give me some advises on this. Do you have some ideas to figure out this problem?
Thanks for your hard work!!

i have the same problems on my T5 its not a defective unit issue. The "most" stable version on T5 is still the beta 6 with c core, but it turn of the screen each bunch of minutes and crash after 4 to 6 turn off.

post your memory usage, how much ram on the palm and the card used and unused, not from UDMH? How much free ram does it say in LJP?

post your memory usage, how much ram on the palm and the card used and unused, not from UDMH? How much free ram does it say in LJP? it says 3119k if I don't turn on the udmh; and it say 44905k if turn on the udmh; it seems should be enough memory to run,but it still show the same error that I said before. and my t5 has still 40.8mb memory(i've installed some softwares, even get the same error if i only install LJP and udmh), no use sd card, internal flash has over 100mb left. do you have any idea? Thank you!! one more point I forgot to tell you, the "virtual writing area" will auto hide if I run the NES and GB game. But the SNES game, "virtual writing area" won't auto hide, it will show on the screen all the time, even it show the error "out of memory" and I press the "reset" button.

First, 16mb of max chunk size in udmh isn't enough, I need like 19mb for my T|E. Secondly, the "feature memory" which udmh uses can't be allocated from the internal flash, so T5 users might get stucked to 16mb. i hope i'm wrong.....

According to your speech, it means that all the T5 user will encounter a "stick to 16mb" problem. That's to say T5 user must wait for yoyofr's new version LJP that reduce it's memory usage of SNES games. All the dear T5 brothers, would you please lend me a hand? That's very easy, please post your UDMH available "max chunk size" of your T5 for me a reference.Thank you very much!!

I don't think 3119k is not enough memory heap to run snes because some games are over 4000k. I don't use UDMH to know if it work correctly. I guess the program fake memory heap or something. In my LJP, it display 10929k ram. I guess because I have more memory heap so everthing work fine.

The game ROM is copied to storage memory, not heap memory, before running the emulator. BTW,
"DataMgr.c,Line:8694,DmWrite: DmWriteCheck failed"
is probably an error while trying to copy the ROM because it's the only part that uses DmWrite (I think).

very very thanks for "angel,faster90 and tinnus" information.
since yoyoufr said LJP can support the .zip file, so I try all the games with that format, is it possible that LJP needs some storage to extract the .zip file then copy the real SNES file to the RAM? That means it take more space than usual.(I hope my guess is right)
Can some one share his SNES rom for me to try(the rom you can run normally on your T5)? I need to leave my email address or something?

The ROM is copied to storage RAM, being it zipped or not. LJP could access it directly from the card but it would be a really huge lot slower

I have a 512mb card so space is not a prob for me. But I think zipping it up is a good idea for somewith with small memory card.

Thanks for Tinnus and Faster90. .zip file will occupy the rom space is just I disagreeumption. Tinnus already prove that is wrong. And I also prefer to use .zip file, faster90. Because it can save more space as you said. Though the 0.9 version seems just a little bit update, but i will try it ;D I also found some one said the 0.6 version is the only usable version on T5. I will try it,too!! God bless me!! If you guys have some available SNES rom can run normally on T5,please share to me,thx!!

I've tried 0.9 and 0.6 on my T5,but problem still. I think I know why that negative situation happens on my T5. But that's hard to express in English, I will try to coordinate the info in order before I post it. ;D
