Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaa SnesPSP TYL V0.2c works on Ver. 2.00, but you need (EBOOT LOADER 0.85) I have not try it yet but I need feedback on how well it works on Ver. 2.00 Then I'll try it out myself.

Would anyone be able to take a video of the Snes TYL 0.2c boot sequence on a 2.0?
From the PSP UXB to the start of the emulated game would be nice (I have a 1.0 fw PSP and would like to compare the time it takes to launch TYL on both fw version.)

Sorry, no camera, but it takes about 14 seconds staring when Eboot Loader 0.8.5 is launched, to selecting the eboot, then selecting the ROM (I ran Chrono Trigger, takes about 3 seconds to unzip).
Not counting the selecting of the emu, it takes the same amount of time as booting it from 1.00, which is what, about 5-6 seconds?.

Yes, and in some cases, improved. 0.2 has something called "speedhacks", in which someone removed some integers from the ROM which caused slow-downs. The emulator has some built-in, and it patches them before the ROM is run (but it is not permanent). I think there was a topic around here about them... well, many ROM's can work full speed on FULL screen. Sometimes, though, they may not. It is simply about changing the settings. Chrono Trigger for example, works well on 333mhz, Frame Rate: Auto, Screen Size: FULL, and in some cases, the frame rate is better on 3 or 4.

How come mine doesn't work? I have version 2.0, and the snes9xTYL-0.2c and still it doesn't work, any suggestions?
P.S. If there is a file I need to Download, can you please give me a link to the site where I can find it?

it actually takes 8 seconds from lauching the TYL eboot up to the display of the rom list on PSP 1.0 (it must be longer than on PSP 2.0 because it displays the PSP animation which takes about 4 seconds)

I can't download EBOOT LOADER 0.85. Can someone e-mail me the file or tell me another website other than files.pspupdates.qj.net/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0 to download the file. I want to try the EBOOT LOADER 0.85 myself to see if its better than using it on Firmware Ver. 1.50 |
