I'd been playing FF2 (US), and it's save file as well as save states both disappeared randomly. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem with any games or if it was just me. I semi-fixed the problem by downloading someone else's save file that was at the same point in the game as me... but still crappy.  |

did you change teh save state slot? I know it sounds stupid, but, it doesn't go to the last state slot used automatically, you have to change it back to the desired slot

I've expreienced this too, but I've not lost my quicksaves before. It's not prompted by a crash or anything like that. It's weird, because FF IV seems to be the only game with the problem.

hmmm....i've also experienced a similar problem with FF3(US) awhile back before v2c was release. my psp didn't crash or anything, my save state and saved files just disappeared. when they disappeared i could save any more so i have to exit the emu and start the game all over again from the beginning, which i didn't.

I had similar problems early on with TYL version 1.
Since then I have been backing up my saves on my pc.
