Tales of Phantasia

Well I downloaded the japanese version of Tales of Phantasia (non-interleaved) and patched it with the IPS patcher for 100% english translation. However, when I start the game, the intro fight comes on (and lags very much) then the screen just goes black, but u can still hear music. I don't know if it's the ROM, or if snesTYL isn't compatible with japanese games yet...etc. Has anyone fixed this?

try to use a mixed mode, psp+accu or psp+approx and perhaps activate some hacks like ignore fixed col, ...

Tales of Phantasia works fine for me, maybe the ROM is corrupt? Try another one.
