Hello, i was playing mario world game with the emulator and it was all ok, till the first tower level. When mario plays inside the first tower level and enters the door to fight the first boss, the screen goes all black and i cant see anything, the music continues, the game doesnt hang up, it just continues but the screen is all black, so the boss kills you (because you cant see whats going on) and then you restart the level.

I've had no problem with this, so it's probably your rom. Try a different one.

Try setting it to accurate software. Disable any graphical hacks.

Turn on transparency and disable any hacks. All the other bosses will give you similar problems. I would suggest saving specific settings for that rom.

I doubt you have to do all that. It works fine for me on the TYL default settings. It probably is a corrupted ROM.

There are a lot of corrupted ROMs out there.
If that isn't the problem, try different settings like corona said.

The boss room uses mode 7 and mode 7 can get killed with some of the rendering modes and hacks.

I checked and found somthing interesting. The version of super mario world that comes as part of the game "Super Mario Allstars and World" is significantly different. Try switching roms and see what that does for you. It worked perfectly when I tried.

You can copy the .srm file from the LJP/SNES/Saves folder to the saves folder for ZSNES and continue your game normally, pass that dungeon, then copy the .srm file back and load your saved game. You need to save and load using the game's saves, not quick slots.
