I've been working on getting this emu onto my 2.0 PSP for the last couple of nights. The EBOOT loader for that version is actually pretty stable, and I can get SNESTYL up and running just fine, as well as most other EBOOTS and LUA's. However, when I try to load one of my zipped roms (i made sure they were zip, not rar), it goes to "loading ROM" screen and then freezes and shuts off in 4-5 seconds. I checked to make sure they weren't corrupted, as they work on my PC snes9x just fine. Any ideas?
Cheers, Darius

Try to unzip the rom & check if the file inside works with PSP SNES TYL or PC Snes9x. Or e-mail me & tell me the rom name, so I can check to see if I have that rom.

What games are they, I know a few games that don't work.

the roms that I tried were Chrono Trigger, Castlevania 4 (Super Castlevania), Final Fantasy III, Earthbound, and Mega Man X1. I was the one that zipped them in the first place, and the unzipped and zipped files work in PC snes9x. However, TYL doesn't see the unzipped files at all. I thought that it only worked with .zip files, and not the actual roms. Thoughts?

Hmmm, perplexing, I know all those ROMs work because I have them, all. Do they work when they are unzipped on the MS? If not, you may need to contact T, Y, or L. I know .zip works, and any level of compression too.

yeah, the roms work when unzipped on the stick. I'm stumped as hell, I know someone in my Chem class who has this on 2.0 and his works fine, but i don't know his email and we're on Xmas break now. d**n it all! I'm gonna try and see if i'm using the 1.0 version like you said on the other guy's post, instead of the 1.5... hm... maybe that'll work...

Make sure the files have a .smc extension.

Indeed. My only suggestion, redownload the files to check for corruption.
