Hey when i opened up snes9xTYL v2 in PSP it said the game was corrupted. Whats going on here? EDIT: perhaps i should elaborate. The directory is as follows: PSP/GAME/snes9xTYL and in that file is: Super Mario RPG.smc, Super Mario World 2.smc, Legend of Zelda- Link to the Past.sfc, logo, EBOOT.PBP When i go to the games category on my PSP and click SNES9XTYL- V0.2 i get the following message: The game cannot be started. The data is corrupted. I'm positive that this is because my system is v2.0 how do i make it v1?? Thanks in advance

2 options: Go to pspupdates.qj.net, go to the forums, and in tutorials, look for "The Definitive MPH Downgrader Faq" (or something like that), that process will make your PSP 1.50 (less security, all homebrew), or
Download the Eboot Loader v0.9. This will allow for 85-90% of all homebrew to be run. This can also be founds at pspupdates.qj.net.

and your roms may be corrupt. mine worked perfectly fine on every PC and laptop i owned, but not on the PSP. redownload them from somewhere like LINK REMOVED - READ THE RULES!!! and take it from there.

Little hint, zip your roms for extra space. Another hint, be aware that because TYL is still in its infancy, it will not run games such as Super Mario RPG at full speed. Also, it seems to me that you simply are lacking the firmware bypass. Download Kxploit and use it on the eboot file, then see what happens.

Little warning darius, giving links to rom sites is a breach of board rules. I suggest that you refrain from doing so in the future, lest you invoke the eternal wrath of the "Moderator"

...which in the case is yoyofr. Good for you that I've seen it before him, or you'd have been banned already.
