great work by the way....now I dont know the architecture of the PSP and PS2 but I sespect they are similar in some ways...so my question is would it be possible to port this great release to the ps2...the ps2 is seriously lacking in SNES emulation.

maybe the devs release the source code for the previous version after release so its possible someone will pick up the code and port it.
i really don't know though, i believe the PSP is more similar to the PS1.

Uhhh yeah.
Snes emulators are old news on PS2. Next time you have a question like this, I suggest you try a google search first.

well, I think he asked the question as the current SNES emu for ps2 is reaally slow. as i said though, someone is always free to port it as yoyo releases the source code, although i doubt it will happen, but yeah..

Snes emulation sucks balls on ps2...have you ever tried it?? doesn't work very well does it...thats why I asked about the porting situation.

Hmmm. Perhaps you should try writing your own emulator for the PS2.

Actually I have the most recent version of Snes9x for the PS2 and it isn't that bad.
Of course some games like Starfox, or other graphically intensive games run slow, but a lot of simpler games like Mario All Stars and other platformers, puzzles, etc. run really well.
I think you should give it a try with the latest build before you write it off.
