Dear all,
My apologies if this has been answered already.
I have a PSP with firmware 2.01. I am using the new eboot loader GTA beta (The recently released "Brown Ale") and s9xTYL 0.3 (latest).
I have put the roms (in .smc and .fig formats) onto my PSP. Yet when I browse for them in snes9xTYL, they simply aren't anywhere to be seen. Is there something I am forgetting to do? I have installed the eboot loader and the homebrew application into the correct directories as far as I can tell...
Again, my apologies if this has already been discussed. Thanks for your time.
B

odd, well i personally zip my snes roms since it chops the overall size to 1/2 or 1/3 of the original size... but i can see em both. this is where i put mine Root:/PSP/Games/Snes9xTYL 1/Snes Roms/ [Roms go Here]
but i usually have to browse to find them....

if u just make a folder called 'ROMS' inside the 'snes9xtyl' folder, when u load up snes9xtyl, it will take u to the rom list automatically.

Is that true? If so, that is amazing. That opens the door to a lot more PSP owners previously trapped with 2.01+ Firmware.

Well from when I was playing it last night, there were a few things up with it, but mostly the usual problems. For example, some of the games were running quite slow. But also, some of them had loading issues, and afer I attempted to load them, I tried then again running games which previously worked perfectly, but now weren't running. Strange.
And for reference, I was using the GTA beta eloader version

Well I just tried this using GTA instead of TIFF and I got SNESTYL0.3 to work. It exits back to eLoader menu which is good also. Super Metroid plays great. 60FPS all the way except for boss battles.

yep, all in all pretty decent. I think with 2.01 - although its slower CPU speed by default, the uo_snes9x_002y32 release is slightly more stable. You'll get a few good games in on TYL 0.3, but eventually you'll have to exit and boot it up again.

standard rule of boards do not ask for or post links to roms find them elsewhere *hint, hint google
I can't belive I dignified you with a response delete your reply so I can do the same.
edit*
I was refering to a post that was above mine and said quote " Where can I find Roms?" Was not talking to the topic creator or anyone else. Darn shouldv'e quoted it but the intention of my post was to delete it and didn't want to waste my time
