I've received both of these errors on Zire 71.
UDMH Stats: -Total Size: 15,597,296 bytes -Free Space: 6,284,228 bytes -Max Chunk Size: 5,304,604 bytes
Isn't this enough to run SNES on LJP? I set for LPJ in UDMH to 10000k.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?

If I'm not mistaken I belive you need about 12000k or about tweleve megs free to run snes it might only be eight though. free up some memory then defrag seeing you need the max chunk size for ram and it might help
edit: oh darn. I guess I should of read the most recent posts first not the last ones forget this.

I'm not sure about the rest of your post but if you want your keys configured within ver 9.
You have to install and configure ver 8 then overwrite it with ver 9. ( Overwrite not delete 8 then install 9) And the keys will stay configured as if in ver 8.
As for the rest sorry can't help there. Good luck

There's still enough bugs in v .9 to make it not worth getting. I'm sticking with .8, at least until I get my controller. The thing is, now even with the overwrite method, once I had .9, I'd need to occasionally have to alter the key mapping, in particular for a game like Chrono Trigger, where in certain situations, you need to press 3 buttons at once to unlock certain things, for example when you first go into the future you have to hold down L and R then hit A to unlock one of those computer things. My setup has A and B on the hardware buttons as well as the d-pad, but X,Y,L,and R are assigned to corners of the screen tapping with the stylus. You can see where the problem is, you can't exactly tap two points on the screen at once and expect it to react like you want. So what I do is save my game, get out of it, and temporarily remap the keys to make it possible to execute such button combinations. That's why I pretty much stick with 0.8 for now. At least, until I get my controller, which is coming soon...

i know it is the best of things!!! jajaja by the way what clie model do you have? does the GB modules give you any trouble??? do you fill the emulation is a bit laggy, for snes?? Thx and God BLess I currently have the TJ-27. I was originally gonna swap for my friend's SJ-22, but I realized it only has OS 4.1... and that wasn't gonna do me any good. The controller is designed for that series, but LJP won't run on it. So, in sticking with my TJ model, I discovered (hopefully -- I haven't actually received the controller as of yet, but its on its way, I got it on EBay.) that with a little modifying to the controller, I can get it to work with the TJ. As far as issues with any of the modules are concerned, I really don't have any. Taken into account my model, and I'm sticking with LJP v0.8 for now (too many bugs in v0.9 to not have a controller yet) I find the following settings work best: NES: Frameskip=0, No smoothing (it just looks awful and jagged with any smoothing), and 1x zoom. (1.25x Zoom, no shading is added in v0.9, which is also good.) GB: This is the only module I use a zoom other than 1x, cuz at that zoom it's just so small. I use the 2x zoom. I really wanted to use Frameskip of 0 on this too (it looks best) but other than no smoothing which doesn't look too good and the combination of 2x zoom and no scaling is not in v0.8, most scalers ran the game too slow at 0 frameskip. Therefore, I found the scaler of AdvMAME2x to run actually very good at 2x zoom and frameskip of 0. I'd recommend this. SNES: Here I set the zoom to 1x (as usual), and frameskip to Auto, since games will either run too slow or be really choppy when I try to set a manual framerate, due to the graphical intensiveness of this module. I don't use smoothing, for me at least any scaler REALLY slows down emulation. Turn on transparency, and I use the "exact" renderer, although I'm not really sure how that impacts this module. Like before, a difference you can make if using v0.9 is the 1.25x Zoom/No scaling combo, which is only available in 0.9 and not 0.8. GENESIS: This module should be reason enough to stick with 0.8, among other obvious reasons. In 0.9, this module is terrribly slow on my device using either 1x or 1.25x zoom, no scaling (a note here: regardless of LJP version, there doesn't seem to be a scaler that works, so leave it off I guess) and either 0 framskip or Auto. I'd again say stick with 0.8 and keep smoothing off, 1x zoom, and Auto frameskip and the module should run fine. (You may need to use Auto and not 0 here, as it may run kind of slow on 0.) Hope this helps you or anyone else with any issues anyone might have with LJP and a similar operating environment as my TJ-27 runs on. (Palm OS v5.2.1, CPU I beleive is 200Mhz, can someone confirm this?)
