I am getting a low battery error on the user mode version of the latest Snes9x TYL. It happens even though my battery is fully charged. It still says low and disables saving. Is there a workaround?

you certainly are using firmware 2.5 or 2.6. Users already reported there's an issue with fanjita loader. Some battery functions aren't currently well implemented, so the issue you have....

well I don't know how the new verson works but once Psp 1.5 tyl version 2b ( I think) I had a low battery when I was on break at work and had no way of charging so I could't use the save state feature so I just tried the in game save (savepoint glowing sparkly thing in all rpg that we have come to love) and it saved even though it I had a low battery. I then reset the rom and started at the save point with nothing changed. I'm not sure If it will work now using fanjita loader, 2.6 and tyl .3 but its worth a shot. Also not completly sure of how bad it is to save with a low battery but you don't so I don't think there will be a problem but I am not for sure anyone want to test it out and share benifits of your trials? Maybe yoyo could take out the savestate block for the 2.6 users out there, well , till a good work around is developed but it isn't hopeful I think, To many jeryy rigged programs to turn the psp into a snes is hard to work around. ...Maybe we should spend our effort not in the escallitaing war of new version that blocks out homebrew and applications that work around that block and spend efforts to get sony to make a version that allows all homebrew applications if in proper code (and void any warranty on the psp) because the psp I believe was intended to allow those types of programs as long as there wasn't anything Illegal going on and induce a law suit between companys over copyright laws. People come on If it is availbe free people are going to do it free
edit* sorry if it sounds like I'm ranting and confused on somethings but my brain is fried after the thermo 1 test today and need a way to take out some steam (this helps) and also hope the reason I posted helps too

It looks like Fanjita recently fixed this, you have to go to his site and download some updated files for the eloader.
