The HOME button and a few suggestions...

I was wondering if it would be possible to re-map the button to enable the menu/GUI to the Home button? I, for one, find myself accidentally hitting the analog stick when I'm playing. I wouldn't mind exiting the program via the normal "exit" selection in the menu, rather than the built-in home button one.

If not, what about re-mapping the menu to Start+select? Just a suggestion

Also, I would like to suggest a way to auto-load some Game Genie codes. Perhaps a way to stick a .txt file it looks to auto-load in a .zip'd rom folder.

Lastly, I would like to suggest maybe this same idea except with a built-in .txt viewer (for viewing .txt versions of either the game manual or strategy guides/ gamefaqs.com stuff).

I guess nobody likes the idea of changing what button initiates the menu? I was merely curious if it were POSSIBLE to re-map the Home button to be the button to go into the menu. Is it possible?

It is possible, however, you wont be able to do that in this version.
So for now, you are gonna have to live with the key configurations as they are.
