There was a bug that yoyo was fighting with regarding FULL APU on ME. He stated it did not terribly interfer with compatibility so he might just release it.
I am very anxious but I would prefer this to be worked on and tested rather than just released sooner with possibly more bugs.
But it also could stand to benefit by releasing and having 100's or 1000's of people testing it out with different settings & games.
Anyway, great work TYL team. Can't wait!

it was a very long wait between 0.2 and 0.3, a couple more weeks is nothing. I'd rather them work out the bugs first.
Many games run perfect or close to it with 0.3_me right now.

Yoyo is fighting again strong instability for the 0.4 We are actually thinking that there is no real way of improving that for now. Most likely we have missing info about something that Sony may know and not us. By just changing the ORDER of the malloc in the code, the emu behave differently with ME activated. It is really weird. When the same code run on one cpu everything is fine again.
We are seriously stuck I would say... (We never used information from official SDK) So it may be the limit of doing it in homebrew for the time beeing.

This is very sad. Please keep fighting the fight. This has come too far to throw in the towel. If its more support you need, just ask for it.
Keep up the great work.

If .4 is going to be delayed do you think we will see a fixed version of 0.3? 0.3 runs dandy for me but I just need some SRAM loving here, Im not a fan of save states.

the thing is that YOYO is breaking new ground on the ME version. not much ME type stuff has been done in homebrew. Good luck yoyo.

as laxer3a wrote, there's really some issues with ME, but :
1/ even if the ME version cannot be fixed, we'll release it. Depending on some internal coding stuff, it's sometimes playable, sometimes not. 2/ if we get fed up fighting with ME, sourcecode will be released so other can try to improve 3/ it might be hardware related (the bus used for ram access being too busy when both main cpu and ME work at the same time with strong memory usage) , but I hope not.

Hey, thanks for all the hardwork guys. I hope you guys can can fix this problem. But like RINSHU stated, is there a chance of a patch for v0.3 to include SRAM saving?
I don't mean to be an ass or a bother, just curious in a feature that was implemented out by accident.
Also if you guys need any type of support, feel free to ask. Again thanks alot guys!

Hi...
All the feature that are "easy" like improving the GUI or correcting small bugs or broken features from previous version of TYL will be done. Dont worry about that.

I must say that even though the ME APU bug has probably got you frustrated/ angered that you haven't been able to work it out, don't feel bad. This is proof that you are literally pushing the boundaries of PSP homebrew and emulation, and I think everyone who is working on this project should feel good about it.
Nice work, everyone.
