Try toying around with the Hack and Debug menu. Other than that, I would suggest you attempt a downgrade to 1.5 so you can make use of the media engine. The speed difference between 1.5 and 2.0 is scary.

also check the following link, it will tell you which options do what and how to tweak your rom for more speed. basically you should turn the SHOW FPS option on and bind the select button to change graphics engines so ingame all you have to do is hit select and watch the FPS jump. once you found the highest FPS u know what graphics engine to use. then go over the following link to tweak other things. might turn off speed limit as well to get more speed. yoyofr92.free.fr/psp/snespsp_help.html

thank you guys. i must say i'm a little bit scary about downgrading my psp. i read horrible storys about destroy the psp... where can i find the options, mstrhelix? i run the standart version of the emulator, must i use the "me version" to make the settings? what about the profile-directory. is it possible to load and save profiles for each game?! thank you for your help, i enjoy the oldskool 16Bit Games much more than the vector-nuts today ;-)
