i love the emulators and things on this site, but the problem is, playing an rpg or somethin like that, its hard to beat it unless you can save your game. i have donkey kong country and it wont save anything. any suggestions?

Try turning on auto updates sram, or using the save state function.

Ok then, simply replace the background file with a simpler background. Any of the backgrounds from the stickied thread at the top will do. This was a simply problem that people we're complaining about for a long while when this emulator was last updated. Soon after, someone found that the last bits of available memory that were once being used for saving were being eaten up by the new background. Other than that, you should be fine for saving. Have fun.

That problem has been noted many times before. Simply find the most updated version of Brown Ale, there is a bug fix for that.

its not the BROWN ALE fault, but rather it was a feature implemented out by accident in the latest version of TYL. It was mentioned earlier by the DEV's a while ago. I would just wait for the v0.4 to come out or if they patch v0.3
