I know im not supposed to mention r**s or i get banned, but i do own the original cratridges ( somewhere lol) i dragged the... uhhh... files! into the snes9xtyl folder , then wheb i open the emulator i get some message flash across the screen about file corruption. its not like i nly have one game to be corrupted i have 3( is sceptical about all three being corrupted) so is their something specific i have to do. im new at emulations on a psp.

First of all, I heavily suggest you check your posts for spelling, cause reading that mess is rather painful. Second of all, roms are often corrupted. This is a fact of life. Most the roms you will find on the internet have at least some corruption. The only way to get corruption free roms, is to dump them yourself. Well... you may get lucky and find some roms with little enough corruption to play, and if you do, then lucky days!

try checking the file on the PC SNES9X or ZSNES and see what the log says when you start. Also what game is it in particualr, cause it may be an issue with the game itself. I know I have seen a few like that. (pretty rare as they are)

thx, and ill watch my spelling ( i learnt to read and write in french many years before english so my english gramar and spelling are horrid, although at times my grammer can be great) BTW im trying to play final fantasy 5 (english translations) if you know someone who wants to help outside of the forums email me- dillon_200@hotmail.com

I too am having the same problem.
I've tried loading the same "file" from different "sources"
And it just shows an empty directory and then my PSP shuts off.

yeah my psp has been shuting its self off aswell! and not just after the emulator is all loaded it does it while its loading!

it may be language patch related. If it is not in the native japanese it could be a problem with the .IPS file or the applied patch.
