For the hell of it, today I tried playing Star Ocean on TYL. As you may know, Star Ocean is BIG for a SNES rom.... really big! So I was expecting a long, ugly load time. (cause the thing is 8 megs even when it's zipped. So I sit there for a minute or two watching it load and then BOOM! PSP shuts itself off. I shrug, thinking it was just a freak event and went to try again. The same deal. I tried unzipping it and loading the smc. instead of the zip. Same deal. I tried a non-patched version of the rom. Same deal. I tried converting the rom to PAL, I tried numerous methods to make it loadable. All of them failed. I know it's not corruption in the rom, cause I dumped it yesterday. Has anyone else had this problem? Id it simply a matter of the PSP running out of memory (like with the saveing issue) Any help would be appreciated, because this one really has me befuddled.

It plays fine on my 1.5 PSP with TYL0.3ME. My Rom is zipped and it is the DeJap Translation. The Rom also had a folder accompanied with it. This folder has to be in same directory as ROM. The folder seems to contain some necessary files for audio or translation. Not really sure but the game works great.
