Oh man,....my PSP really suck. There's nothing wrong with it just that none of the game that's released live up to the PSP hype. The only thing that keeps me from selling my PSP are the home brew apps and emus. My DS is way better when it comes to fun games. PSP lack fun games like the DS and I'm sure that everyone still keeps their firmware as v1.5 just for the homebrew stuff.

Yes, this is the arguement for the PSP since the beginning.
The specs for the PSP are superior to that of the DS in almost every way, and yet the DS is kicking the crap out of the PSP in terms of sales. Why is Sony so unsuccessful? Because the games suck. But that's no longer quite true. There are many good games for PSP, unfortunatly, you need to upgrade your firmware to disgusting levels to play these games.
GTA, Worms, DBZ and Syphon Filter are all great games for the PSP, and they all apparently live up to the hype. The only downside is having to use eloaders to play homebrew, which is, sad to say, terrible in comparison to 1.0 and 1.5.

Or... you can use "alternate" methods... hehehe...
But you're right... the success for any videogame console/equipment is based exclusively by the games that are realesed for... But anyway, you still can get hours of fun with lumines, GTA and others...

Well... I'm not so radical... I love my PSP... and love games... so for me snes9xTYL is a wonderful addition to my PSP (also is the best, followed by neocdPSP and ScummVMPSP)

hmmm....i've played most of the great tiltles such as: GTA, DBZ, Tale of Eternia, Popolo C., etc... after awhile the games lack replay value on the PSP. i'm finding myself play: Wario Ware, Animal Crossing, Castlevinia, Mario Kart, etc... on the DS. games for the DS seems to have a lot of thought put into creating it. even games for the GBA seems funner than PSPs', Pokemon anyone!

recently read the other day that more 2.5 umd's are being ran on 1.5 with a modified run umd app. its really sad sony doesnt go with homebrew event though i understand why... im thinking about getting a gp2x and not having to deal with the hassle of this. im currently waiting for a black nds lite and a new neo flash setup so i can play homebrew on the nds  |
