I tried a search for this, and cant find any info on it.
I load the rom, and it says found ips, then the system hangs for about 15 seconds and reboots.
Is this a common thing, or am i just having bad luck?
I always used ZSNES, so I'm not sure how ips compatability is with SNES9x.
Any help would be appreciated

one thing is to make sure that your .ips file is named after the rom... ie...
streetfighter2rom.zip name your ips file for it
streetfighter2rom.ips

Download an ips patcher to patch your roms beforehand.

yeah i had the same thing for example with dragon quest 6, but then with a pre-patched rom it worked like a charm Other roms like tales of Phantasia do work great with a seperate .ips file.. try it!
