Hi, first off I want to thank you guys for the great emulator. I've had alot of fun with it, it kept me entertained over a lot of boring times. I did have one disappointment, but I'll get to that later.
First off, the minor "bug". When you go to Import Savestate, it will say at the top to "load a ROM". Obviously you are not loading a ROM, you are loading a save file (.000, .001 etc.). Also, at the bottom is has O: Load ROM which is also wrong.
I could report alot more bugs, but they are probably obvious, so I won't report them.
Now my request. I would like a memory editor - a cheat code enabler, which I can use from the menu. One can be seen in UoSnes9x, where you can input/edit codes from the menu. I don't really care as much, but if it was possible, the ability to search the memory using special techniques (like a GameShark) would be sweet. This is probably the only thing UoSnes9x is bettering TYL in.
I noticed that you're adding a SPC player. How hard would it be to add a SPC recorder? One can be seen in ZSNES.
Thanks!

Ok, the "text" are wrong. I am going to check with the next release. But in 0.4 text file are going to be externalize for localization, so I bet this stuff should disappear. For the cheat code enabler, it is going to be there in 0.4 SPC Player was quite easy for yoyo to add, as he already done that before. It was probably a matter of 1 or 2 hours of work.

Alright, thanks for that, but I asked about a SPC recorder, not a player. A player is useless when you can't record for it

Ouppss... Missed it :-)
Well not complex I believe... but what would be the point ? I think it easier to "screen shot" stuff with a PC. I am not sure people would request such feature...
The text viewer in the next version is more usefull I believe as people want to read "game solution text" while playing.

There's no point in putting a SPC player in an emulator unless you can record for it. The SPC player would have nothing to do with the emulator, therefore it should either be made a seperate homebrew, or you could use my suggestion.
Oh, and another suggestion. Change the screenshot format to PNG - the JPG screenshots which are saved are very lossy and look awful. PNG will display exactly like it should be and it won't be too large.

SPC is the music format for Snes games. And SPC players are probably the greatest invention ever.

.PNG does not take longer to load and it does not "take up more bandwidth" (what are they feeding our new computer users) - I assume you mean it takes up more space, which it does not.

Another bug, this time it's game-specific. The game is Darius Twin (U) [!] - when you get to the first boss of the first level, your ship will simply keep flying. The text will stay on the screen and the boss will never show up. The game is not frozen, but there is nothing you can do. I might point out that it works on UoSnes9x, and that no graphic mode fixes the problem.
Another small bug is that when (for example) you're loading a save state (when it says now loading), if you press a button (such as square), the save state will not load until you let go. This goes the same for entering the in-game menu - it is a bug, even though it sounds like my fault. Check it out.
