Learning, but still a little lost...

Well, as it stands, I have learned a ton more here than I have on any other site, and for that I am quite thankful. But I have a few questions that have yet to be answered clearly.

Here's what I have to deal with.
- FW v2.60
- s9xTYL 0.3
- Sleep Deprivation
- I get annoyed easily

Now, am I right in assuming that I need to have a copy of GTA and that I must use the exploit within it to run the eLoader? Or is this strictly when using s9xTYL 0.2c and lower?

My reason for being confused is that on Fanjita's site it states that the eLoader does NOT work with s9xTYL 0.3, and thereby leading me to assume that I require some other method of booting up the emulator, and that the aforementioned "other method" is non-existent, or hidden well enough that I can't find it at 3am.

Now, assuming that I haven't done anything wrong, and all that is required with s9xTYL 0.3 is to follow the readme.txt intallation instructions, and that I should be able to boot it up flawlessly, and easily... I can't and I get the usual "zOMG CurrUPt! BbQ! zZqT!" error message. (Yes I did the logo thing.)

Is there something that I'm overlooking? Or am I an idiot? (Please tell me it's the first one.)

I realize that probably everything that I've asked has been asked here before... over, and over. And I realize that it's probably beyond annoying. Please refrain from flaming me and telling to "Go read elsewhere." "www.google.com", or whatever, because I looked hard, and read lots before posting. Take it as a complement that I come here to ask for advice. You've earned my respect.

read it again, it says use USER VERSION

This is refering to the USER version of s9xTYL, right? (WHat confused me was the "N". No generally means no. And still, does that mean that I still require a copy of GTA? I have no problem getting my hands on a copy, it's a good enough game to warrant spending $50, and exponentially more so if it give me access to my plethora of ROMS.

I'm still reading into it, now I guess I'm just looking for a simple yes, or no. =/
