I recently picked up the newest snes9xTYL emulater. (0.4 me) I find it to be absolutely wonderfull, but, however, I prefure the old style of accessing the menu, uping the framerate, and going turbo with the joystick. So, I configured it in the settings so it would be just like before, however, without the "Analog stick mapped to pad" option set to yes, the analog stick doesn't work AT ALL. So, you can not use them to troggle the menu, or anything else.
With it set you yes, you can do all that, however, it will also effect what happens in the game. For example, if I press up on the joystick, it ups the framerate, but also, my character will move up. Can this be fixed soon? :?

just checked it : it works well. I guess you didn't spend much time trying to have it working moreover I had some profiles ready (use the select button and choose the 'X' one). to have your own customized controls, be carefull when you something for the analog stick: -have the "analog stick mapped to pad" on "off" -use the UP(analog), DOWN(analog) , ... and not the UP(pad), DOWN(pad) command ...

Opps, my bad, I figured out the problem. I was using Detect mode, and due to my lazyness and inatentiveness, I realized that there IS a bug, but it was not that. The bug is, that in detect mode, if you try to make it detect an analog movement, it only takes it in as a (pad) not an (analog). However, I had not noticed it till this morning. Otherwise, fantastic work. I will also be posting another bug in a second.
